I come with a lot of lore. I studied performance in Houston, moved to Chicago for the storefront theatre scene, and spent years as a commercial and animation voiceover artist—so when I say voice is intrinsic to how I think, I mean it literally.

I came up through channels—email, SMS, social—and learned every platform from the inside out, mostly by teaching myself (shoutout to Xanga and Myspace for the HTML foundation). But the work that lights me up has always been creative—especially in beauty, where I've spent most of my career and still write as a contributing editor. I'm happiest concepting campaigns, sharpening product positioning, or writing for anyone who craves a good story and chuckles at a pithy tagline.

I have a rotating list of hobbies (currently adult figure skating), three dogs, and a business name (Softblond) borrowed from a brow pencil shade.
